| 6:00 AM | arrive Abreau camp, get water, start for Fish Camp |
| 7:00 AM | breakfast on trail |
| early morning | strenuous climbing on switchbacks |
| late morning | more strenuous hiking along undulating contour line on side of deep valley |
| ~noon | stopped for lunch on only flat ground we can find - a rocky promontory high above the valley |
| afternoon | continue strenuous contour line |
| late afternoon | serious climb and descent toward camp, we see a COW just off the steep trail |
| ~5 PM | finally arrive camp and check in, about 1/2 mile to campsite! |
| ~5:30 | make camp, eat |
| 7 PM | Frank and John go to Advisor's coffee |
| 8 PM | Fish Camp program |
| 9:30 PM | lights out |
